A DESIGN ECOLOGY

The Snail, a slow-made, editioned object that acts as both artefact and gesture. Rooted in care, locality, and ecology, The Snail resists the pressures of speed, scale, and individual authorship, instead, it embraces a slower, entangled process - one that foregrounds interdependence, material sensitivity, and mutual respect.

The Snail highlights the role of local makers, small-batch processes, and overlooked materials seeing making itself as the opportunity to build viable, place based systems of exchange - a design ecology.
